Me and the girls want to go away somewhere for a good girly weekend. We live in Wigan, (Close to Liverpool). Can anyone recommend somewhere?
(Nothing too cheesy! We are all mid 20's.)

Just wondering what your 10 favourite things about Scotland are. Even if you don't like us tartan wearing, loch people... I'm sure there's SOMETHING you like about the country!

Someone has said that it is to do with landownership by a family called "Caton" or "Catton".

Is this a family myth?

I live on the southcoast in Hampshire & I need to go to North Yorkshire early in the new year, I don't drive & don't fancy getting the train. I know it's possible to fly.
I don't have a passport but I've been told I can in the UK without one. Which airport is closest to Harrogate in North Yorkshire & do you know any good tavel sites to book cheap tickets?
Any help will be much appreciated.

while we were there one year i remember visiting a cave or a cavern...you walked down some steps into it and there was water falling down each side and like a path through the middle that you walked along. under the water there were slate slabs that im sure we were told were the graves of the knights of the round table(although i may be mistaken)
can anybody tell me where this is and what it is called?

I am wanting ideas of what to do and see while in England. I probably won't be able to go for a year but I am doing some searches now. I don't want to do the touristy type things. I want to see as much as possible the real England not the tourist traps. Thanks in advance!!!!

I mean, didn't you guys win TWO world wars?

Hell, Germany lost two and they are richer and more advanced than you?

Oh, and don't come with the Marshal Plan stuff about rebuilding Germany. We gave 3 times as much Marshal Plan money to you Brits than we did to Germany, even though Germany was much more destroyed. So that's not it. It must be something else.

Then I just read that the British Prime Minister, Blair, was on a flight from Miami to London on a British Airways airplane...

Why does the British Prime Minister have to fly on a public plane?

I mean, every respectable leader has his own jet - at least that's what I thought. Again, we have Air Force One and the Germans, who lost the war TWICE, have one for their Merkel.

Your dental care is 3rd world - a Brit told me this...

So what the hell is going on over there in Britain?

Is the multi-culturalism that Hitler warned you about biting you in the azz??
