Me and the girls want to go away somewhere for a good girly weekend. We live in Wigan, (Close to Liverpool). Can anyone recommend somewhere?
(Nothing too cheesy! We are all mid 20's.)

Most University towns have great nightlife and lots of eateries because of the resident students - so just decide how far you wanna go! Cardiff, Edinburgh, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol and Newcastle I can recommend from experience

in case you want some thing extremely distant faraway from the crowds and screaming little ones, the islands off Scotland's coast are magnificent for a short smash. Orkney has a lot of exciting archaelogical information superhighway sites and Skye has the numerous maximum fantastic surroundings, plus some cracking good eating places (the three Chimneys, for instance).
