I'm going to UK next month and I already know their history and
my English is more than good(I'd like to think so).
Which are the best places to visit in England,Scotland,Wales and
Ireland? What about people and their culture?
I've already asked my friends but they didn't say much good.
Still,I think they're wrong,help?
p.s. If you have visited UK,could you tell me your opinion.
Thank you! =)

I am looking for a change and would like to move overseas. I don't neccesarily have to be in England, but an English speaking country is a must as I don't speak a foreign language.
I would like to either work for a year, attend grad school to earn a degree in Art History or Music History, or attend a professional cooking school.
How do I go about making such a move from the United States?
What are some cities to consider? I am fairly young (27) in food and wine, music, cultural activities.
How much should I plan on spending per month for living expenses? Is it hard for expats to find a job? How is the housing?
Any information would be helpful as I don't know where to start.

Thanks

The DVLA has lost my expired passport and driving license when I recently used it as ID confirmation for a Euro photo license. I've been in America for nearly 15 years now and to get a replacement passport I have to state the town I got my original passport from. My choices are London, Peterborough and others - I was living in Bournemouth at the time and I'm pretty sure I got a train to Swansea (passport office)and did it in person? Am I going daft? This would have been in 1990 and I'm afraid I might be confusing the DVLA with the passport office... I know I'm probably going senile... but can anyone throw a light on this one?
