If you've got "Google Earth" you can draw a line between any 2 places and and it will tell you the distance.

Choose travel directions it will allow you to input 2 postcodes it shows you the travel directions either Quickest or Shortest routes distance in miles or km. also has a map of route either street level or aerial or hybrid (both)

you can get a rough distance from google earth...... they have a measurement feature where you draw a line and it tells you how far it is
