According to the AA route planner it's approx 457.7 Miles and will take around 7 hrs 33 mins to complete the journey, although it prolly wouldn't take that long in reality.

About 8 hours, I live close to Dumbarton ( The Rock ) and there are some great places nearby, Loch Lomond is only a short drive away.
