Since the value of a US Dollar is much lower than the value of a British pound, is stuff in the UK more expensive than here in the US? Lets say something here in the US costs $10. If I I buy that same thing in the UK and convert the amount I paid for it in pounds back to dollars, would it still be around $10 or would it be more expensive? It could be totally unrelated to the exchange rate, but Im just wondering how expensive stuff is over there.

Can anyone recommend any good walks in North Lancashire or Cumbria for families with children?

My daughter is 4 and really loves walking, but she can't manage more than about 4 miles or really steep slopes. It doesn't need to be completely flat or pushchair-friendly though.

Nice views and fun activities nearby are a bonus!

I am interested in taking a coastal walk, Could you please send me a map and the route of the coastal footpath between The Foreland (GR 055825) and Anvil Point (GR 028769).

Also I would appreciate it if you could send me a description of the coastal features that I would see along the walk, indicating the best viewpoints.
