Newcastle Upon Tyne is the best city in the country if not the world !
You will meet the friendliest people in the world.
The night life is beyond compare, fabulous clubs especially down on the Quayside ,wonderful restaurants especially Chinese in China Town, great city for culture, miles of beaches only a short drive away,we even have a club/restaurant on a ship !!! which is moored on the other side of the Tyne,in Gateshead.Send for a brochure from Newcastle Tourist Information Office and come and visit us. Geordies are a welcoming bunch including me !!

I think the best city in britain is glasgow coz glasgow has lots of festivals and museums such as the Glasgow science Centre, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery or the transport museum. The city also has many ol buildings in the merchants city part such as the cathedral, but it also has modern buildings like the SECC and the Science Centre. there are also more modern buildings going up like the new Transport Museum and Elphinstone Tower

Edinburgh or Whitby-
Edinburgh is georgeous, with all the old buildings and the castle, and Whitby is a nice, fun, seaside town, and both have really good history.
