0044 area code leaving off first 0 then the number

You would ring 0044 and then the number but missing out the first 0 in it eg for london numbers you would ring 0044.208 then the rest of the local number. Or alternatively, come back home, it is nicer here.

It's 00 44, then drop the first 0 from the number you're trying to ring. For example if you are calling Central London it would be:

00 44 20 7XXX XXXX

remove the 0 at beginning of number, then replace with 0044.
