Can anyone recommend any good walks in North Lancashire or Cumbria for families with children?

My daughter is 4 and really loves walking, but she can't manage more than about 4 miles or really steep slopes. It doesn't need to be completely flat or pushchair-friendly though.

Nice views and fun activities nearby are a bonus!

Loughrigg Fell going from Ambleside...it's great...and there's a cave about two thirds the way round.
Have fun!

Hollies to Grange – Peaceful and beautiful walk along the river or by the side of Castle Crag following a short climb with impressive views over Borrowdale
Hollies to Fairy Glen – walk to Stonethwaite and along the Langstrath valley to some delightful pools and waterfalls. Ideal for a hot summers day. Stop at The Langstrath Country Inn for a drink on your return!
Hollies to Seatoller – short climb then walk along good track with magnificent views of Borrowdale. Walk back along the valley floor.
Hollies to Brund Fell – short climb on the Watendlath path up to Brund Fell giving magnificent views over the valley. Easy walking from here to the hamlet of Watendlath itself (featured in Walpole’s The House of Judith Paris) or on to the nearby fell of King’s How.
Hollies to Dock Tarn - short climb on the Watendlath path as before but in the other direction past Great Crag and along to delightful Dock Tarn, returning via Stonethwaite.
Hollies to Dale Head – longer more strenuous walk up past Dale Head Tarn to Dale Head and back down to Honister with wonderful views of both Baorrowdale and the parallel valley of Newlands then back along the high level pass.
Hollies to High Spy – again up to path near Dale Head Tarn then north to High Spy and along the ridge past Maiden Moor and down to Grange. Returning to Rosthwaite along the river.
Hollies to Glaramara – a longer walk ascending Glaramara by Thornethwaite Farm and along the superb high level ridge past Allen Crags and down to Esk Hause the airy hub of several of the most famous lakeland valleys – Borrowdale, Langstrath, Langdale, and Eskdale. Descend Grains Gill and return via Seathwaite.
