I'm not necessarily looking for your average High St fare. Are there any shops in London where I can buy some boxed assortments of ARTISTIC and SPIRITUAL Christmas cards? I'm looking to bring some colour, flair and imagination to this year's festive season.

I am a Canadian national, and I am currently living in London. I have just finished my MA in the UK. I will be starting another course in London in January, a PhD. My current student visa expires in Jan, I will be going to Canada mid-December and returning in January - I was wondering if I have all the proper forms can I apply for another student visa WITHIN the UK, or do I have to apply in Canada? Thanks!

I am captivated with London England. I was wondering if anyone from there or if anyone has been there can tell me anything about it, or know of any interesting links I could go to? I would love to go but if I do get to go it will be next year in August or September because I want to take the tour of Buckingham Palace. I truely think I was born in the wrong country. :) So if anyone can tell me anything I would really love it. Thank you.

England put their clocks (time) back 1 hour this last weekend, 28/29 October, so it will get dark earlier (by 1 hour) than it did last week and this will stay in place until the spring when the hour is put forward 1 hour for the summer months. My question is: did America do the same this weekend?

I've heard they're cheaper but how much do you save a week if you usually buy a peak time zone 1 and 2 travelcard at 6.20 five days a week. I've just never got round to getting one and I get a travelcard every day. Mug, I know. Tell me what I'd save and I might force myself to leave 5 mintues early on monday and get one.
