North Finchley is starting to become a happening area. Camdentown, of course, as well as West Hampstead. Kilburn isn't Paddyland anymore, as it is starting to become hip. Ealing and Acton in the west and Islaington are popular amongst young singles. Highgate is also another cool place. South of the River always seemed to me to be more geared for the married with children crowd.

To be Educated and Professional - it mst be North of the River.
I would guess the area around Regent's Park.

I don't know for sure, but I think I remember a study that showed Tooting was the place to be for that demographic. I would also guess bits of Clapham and Stoke Newington.
