Bit of a long shot question isn't it. Who the heck remembers anyone when walking in London? Even if they did, the chance of them being on Yahoo Answers is minimal and the description you gave is hazy.

You couldn't have been in the city centre, that's a certain point in trafalgar sq. marked by an engraved replica of 'charring cross', i don't recall seeing any shop's actually in trafalgar square
