I may have the opportunity to move to Jamaica for a year and am not having much luck finding out about the local lifestyle and cost of living etc. I've only been able to find the "tourist" sites. What is it really like to be an American living in Jamaica?

Me and my friend, both 16, almost 17, are planning on taking a road trip to California this June to go surfing.

We've done the math and will need about 700 dollars for gas, food, etc., so we're going to aim for 1000 just in case. We plan on sleeping in the back of the van at rest stops.

I think we've got everything covered, but any suggestions/warnings?

So a few of us want to go to spring break this year, but we have already done bahamas, what are some other great locations we can look into for SB? More importantly stuff that is all inclusive and where driving is not an issue. Thanks!

I'm moving from the UK to Canada in a year or 2 and would like tips or advice on what to bring. I know that it is pointless bringing electricals but what about furniture and other houshold stuff or would the cost just be prohibitive?

Hi. I would like to hear peoples experiences of honeymoon destinations, or even anyone that's had a great holiday, not just honeymooners. I am so confused you have no idea, and places are getting booked up fast so i need to move quickly! I am planning my honeymoon between mid April/mid May and don't know where to go.
I want somewhere beautiful, very relaxing, not alot of kids around, good weather, but with maybe a little something to do in the evenings. We were planning on going to the Maldives to the gorgeous resort of Huvafen Fushi (huvafenfushi.com) but i can't help but feel that we will get so bored there. All there is to do is sleep and eat! Oh, and of course the obvious naughty things that any newly wed couple would get up to ;-)

Any ideas??
