Is it as luxurious as it seems or is it boring sitting and eating all day, just like I imagine a cruise would be?

I've never been on it but I saw the Orient Express last time I was in Venice station.It looks old fashioned but surely interesting.As far as I know it runs from Paris to Istanbul via Venice so there should be a great landscape to look at

It depends wher you are going on it. I went on a day trip within the UK and had luch (which was fabulous) but was only on it for 2 hours each way so just enjoyed the atmosphere.

NOT BORING AT ALL dress up in costume you'll love it.
