I'm a Canadian and I would like to spend around 4 months in France and i've been told that we need a visa if we want to spend over 3 months in the Schengen area. But i also know that some people made it without a visa for a longer period. So, do they check at the customs for how long you've been in the country? how can they find out? is it risky to go without a visa?

I'm going to go on holiday this year for the first time with my girlfriend. We are considering Egypt but I've heard a few bad reports. We will probably decide on a resort nearer the time and i would like if possible to spend about £450-550 per person for at least 10 nights.

Would you recommend going all-inclusive? I think it would be a good option in case i havn't got thousands saved up for spending money as we would still be able to eat and drink without worrying about running out of money!

Hopefully people can let me know their opinions based on experience!

I live in Los Angeles California, and i want to go to Las Vegas Nevada,i've been there twice but i travel in car so i have no problem with that, the things is that now i want to go with my bf, and we want to travel by Greyhound, do i need a greencard? do they ask you for it? what do i need? i've never travelled by bus before so i apprecciate your help

I'd love some ideas on where to have a relaxing, romantic holiday with my hubby. We went to the Greek Islands 2 years ago and had a wonderful time, any ideas? We are going in April and have about 4 weeks. We don't mind how far away or how much it costs, we just want to enjoy ourselves and discover somewhere new in our beautiful world. My wife and I and our three children fly to Italy every year to combine a visit to the grandparents and for our summmer holiday. We normally go on a budget airline like Ryanair (stansted to pisa).
This year we are thinking of taking a little longer and driving. We have a smallish petrol driven MPV (Citroen Picasso).
Will we be doing out bit to drive this year?
