Seems a lot of hotels are becoming completely non-smoking doing away with all of their smoking rooms......if you regularly used a hotel/motel that allowed you to smoke but now doesn't would you stay there anyways and just deal with smoking where it was allowed or change hotels that would allow you to smoke in your room? Does anyone know what percentage of the population are smokers?

Where can you find the happiest society in the world? When I say happy I don't only mean superficially happy and joyful, but also happy in the soul, ie. content and living without fear and anger.

Rather than just visit the usual tourist sites, one would wish to visit those out of the way places that reveal the true character and spirit of India.

We have airfare for two anywhere that Continental airlines flies. Unfortunately only the airfare is paid for. So we are trying to find a great vacation spot that doesn't cost more than $500.00 for accommodations and entertainment while we are there for a week.

sometimes commuter planes can be terrfying, such as you can see what the pilots are not doing. As the plane veers off to the right, for example, and the pilots have not rouched a button, wheel, or lever, the [assenger cannot help but wonder whether or not the plane is, in fact, supposed to be veering off to the right..
My question is, it may be better not to know what is going on in the cockpit if you are just a passenger on an airplane. Do you think a person, who is a non-member of a certain professional, might be better off not knowing what a professional is doing? why?

I will fly to the U.S.A for the first time and alone. I am very concerned about getting lost among the huge airports that I will transit.

Could you give me some tips to avoid getting lost, and to know where to find my next plane?

What if you prepay with a credit card online? can they decline service? Can you have your parents book the hotel and send you to stay there w/o them? Do they just LOOK at ur identification or do they do a background check? Do you really have to be 18 if u pay? what if ur parents call? thanks.

I am going to Spain this summer for five weeks and will be travelling by train from Madrid, barcelona, and Santiago de Compostela, as well as to smaller cities, and I'm confused about the benefits of buying a eurail pass. I checked the website and I didn't understand what it meant by saying you have three travel days in two months, etc. Can you please explain what constitutes a travel day? And also, whether a eurail pass is worth it. I GIVE TEN POINTS!

thanks
