Travel (General) - September 2006

I am from Russia and came to America when I was about 5 years old (now 21). I haven't been back since. I would like to go on vacation outside of the United States (not Russia) and need a passport. I would apply for citizenship for the US, but that takes a long time and I would like to go on vacation in December of this year. Is it a reasonable amount of time to get a passport from Russia by December?

I am bored with life right now, I want to move to another city. I live in Pittsburgh, its the same thing every week, same people. Boring life in a boring town. I want to move to a new city, I work from my computer so I can live anywhere. I would like a city that is young and vibrant, preferably on the east coast, good nightlife, and I guess I would be open to moving to Europe if anyone is high on a city there. Obviously, I will do more research but all help is appreciated. Feel free to message me with ideas also later ty.

I saw this article in newspaper in travel section and there were some photographs too. I really liked them and wanna visit india someday. I have heard that some ppl think that its not a very good choice because india is way different from Canada and I might not like it because of poverty and pollution but I have also heard from different ppl that its an amazng place and India has many more things to offer besides taj mahal. I just came back from a road trip with my boyfriend and we were discussing travel quirks or traditions. Like me I always stay in the middle or right lane unless I am passing someone. A friend of mine would always go to the inside of a curve because he thought it saved him gas. Or another friend would stay behind 18-wheelers when going up hill becuase he thought the air draft from the truck would help pull you up the hill while using less gas. My question is what is your unusual travel quirk/tradition? Please share!
