A place called Mousehole, near St Ives In Cornwall. It's absolutely gorgeous, and the weather's fantastic. Or, the Highlands in Scotland, the scenery is out of this world.

A small fishing village called West Runton on the North Norfolk coast. People are the friendliest anywhere and the beach and cliffs are absolutely breathtaking - as is most of that coast.

Equally anywhere in Yorkshire which is definitely gods playground

I am a British national who last year decided to get up and leave the hussle and bussle of London and headed west to Ireland. (job)
I must admit I had my preconcieved conceptions about this little island, but I admit that I wake up every morning with a new thirst for life that I never seemed to have in london, its beautiful especially on the west coast, the people are the most down to earth you will find, however the weather is a bit of downer.

LOL I am interested to know where these peeps that recommend these places have been. I've been everywhere man, from Japan to the British Isles, India, Nepal, Thailand, Greece, pretty much all of Europe East and West (cept for Scandinavia - too pricey) most of Continental US and all of Canada. Fave spots were in Austria, British Columbia Canada, Southern Thailand, Island of Corfu.

Milford Sound on South Island New Zealand must be one of the top 5 most beautiful places on this planet, closely followed by the West coast of Scotland, Torridon especially.

The Great Barrier Reef in Australia

Also a little town called Frisco, Colorado. There is a lake surrounded by snow-capped Rocky Mountains. It is near Breckenridge and Vail. They are not quite as nice.

It depends on you're nationality, what you think is beautiful and what time of year.
For example, if you're British and you like lush greenery in rolling hills in summer. I would suggest you go to Central Portugal. But they're not so friendly towards, say, the Spanish or the North Africans (old rivalry's).
No two views are the same!
