I am from Russia and came to America when I was about 5 years old (now 21). I haven't been back since. I would like to go on vacation outside of the United States (not Russia) and need a passport. I would apply for citizenship for the US, but that takes a long time and I would like to go on vacation in December of this year. Is it a reasonable amount of time to get a passport from Russia by December?

No, it'll take longer than that, plus you'll need a US visa to go back to the US!

you need to call the russian consulate.. and make an appointment for them to give you the forms and stuff.... plus.. you need proof that you were born in russia and maybe.. it may be easier to get a us passport instead.... they might have a website either way... just have your birth certifigate ready and any other important papers.

contact the russian embassy or consular office and they should be able to help you with all your requests. It usually takes about a month to 6 weeks to get a passport so you should have plenty of time to get it all done.

You need to contact Russian consulate in the US. Here is also a link to their website: http://www.russianembassy.org/
You might have to register your russian citizenship with them first.

I have no idea as to time. But you should contact the Russian consulate for the pertinent information.
