Travelling to Rome 29th November for 4 nights. What's the weather like then. Am I likely to need an umbrella and top coat?.

There aren't really any specific guidelines on the project, just any kind of project is accepted. Creative ideas are very helpful and very much appreciated!

I have already payed for the room for both myself and my girlfriend. I know that it is supposed to be somewhat dangerous at night. What level of danger do I need to anticipate? I chose the place for its centralized location close to the sights we wanted to see. For local Romans who might know more about the area it is situated near Piazza Repubblica. Can you tell me what I should know to be safe? I have read about pick pockets and feel I should be alright as far as that goes but should I be concerned about violent crime? Thank you!

Hi guys,

I have 2 choices for Rome in January 26-31.

1) Hotel Center 1-2-3 : Via Carlo Alberto 4/B -- close to the Tremini Station

2) Hotel Gli Artisti : Via degli Scipioni 53 -- close to the Vatican.

This question would be for italians or people that know Rome pretty well. I am looking to be in a hotel close to the city center. Which one of these two do you think it's better ?

Thanks

It is a spring break trip in April, but registration is now. We'll have afternoons and evenings free. I'm not interested in old christian architecture or art galleries or drinking wine. Is there anything exciting to do there that would be worth all that money?

I am a college student that is looking for ideas for a multicultural research project to conduct in both Rome and Bejing, China. If I can come up with a good project, I might be able to get my trip to Rome and Bejing paid for. The project can be basically anything I want to research as long as it involves both cultures, since my school has campuses in both Italy and China. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into contemporary issues facing both countries, in politics or religion or anything, I willing to research just about anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
