if you fly into ciampino airport there is a bus with Terravision that goes to the termini station which is the main train station and it takes about half hr to get there. to get around rome use the metro as it goes to all the main sites ie collssum trevi fountain etc. we went for 3 days and bought a 3 day card for less that 10 euros and we went everywhere on it deffnetly worth the money! enjoy rome as its a wicked city!

The metro / bus service in Rome is actually quite good. Even though in Britain, you can google for the yellow pages of Rome!

It's probably best to use the Rome Metro or buses though, as you can buy a one day travelcard thingy. The traffic's pretty hairy though, so either walking or public transport's the best thing.... There's a direct train link from Leonard Da Vinci airport.
