Has anyone got any ideas where to go and what to see on our way to Dubrovnik. Last year for the first time we toured Europe in our car stopping at Troyes, Mont Blanc, Lake Garda, Venice then Italy, we loved it but now we want to head down to Dubronvnic travelling through Germany, Austria. etc, etc. We would be grateful for any ideas re points of interest and idyllic settings on the way. Last year we travelled no longer than 4-5 hours arriving at about midday then staying for 2 nights then moving on to the next destination. Staying for possible 3 nights at the final destination then trying to return a different way. Any ideas would be welcomed

I'm planning a motorbike trip to Norway in May, I'm going to ride across France, Belgium, Holland, Germany then up into Denmark, take the bridge from Copenhagen to Malmo and then along the West coast of Sweden to Norway. My first calculations suggested about 550 miles per day. EASY. Now I've worked out its 675 miles per day! Not so easy. Any suggestions/advice much appreciated(other than "take 3 days")?

It was predicted by the British media, especially The Sun, that when Romania and Bulgaria joined the EU on 1st Jan this year that a flood of immigrants would arrive in the UK. Can anyone tell me roughtly how many from each of there countries have actually arrived in the UK seeking work. I am a British subject living in Bulgaria and have doubted these press comments from the start

Me and mates want a cheap as trip to Prague. But want the cheapest nastiest flights from most airports. Would it be better to stay in a hotel or something when we get there instead of booking online to save cash. Meant to be going around April time!.

i have a croatian background and I'm thinking of going to serbia, I'm wondering if I was there and they knew/I mentioned that I was croatian would there be any kind of hostility, or would people not want to know me, also what would it be like vice-versa; how are relations between serbians and croatians there nowadays?

How much do you think eating out etc would be on average every day?

How much spending money should we take?

We're not into clubbing etc, just eating out and stuff!
