Well under this goverment, the maltese are going very fine, they have a low cost of living, living in serenity. They are getting SMART CITY to Malta now...

why not visit this website for more info dear : Good luck, I'm sure the Maltese will welcome you. They are very friendly people and the weather is almost always warm and sunny!!!

Try the frank salt (estate agent) web site here you will get advice on renting and living in Malta, renting is very reasonable try and get the electricity as part of the rent if possible. At the moment they still use the maltese pound around 60c to £1 sterling.
There are no large supermarkets like here, more like spar supermarkets, cost of local transport is cheap 19 to 40c approx is all you will be charged for a bus journey.People are really friendly and like the British, nightlife is best in Paceville, not many really sandy beaches, steeped in culture.have fruit and veg, fish and bakery vans selling from the street.

Hi, i'm sorry I can't really answer your questions but you are a very lucky person to be considering this move. I absoleutly love Malta and would quite happily move there myself. Where abouts are you going? I have stayed in Qawra on my visits but I love Mdina and Sliema too. Good luck and hope you get a better answer than mine with some info in it!
