Try this: The natives of Gabrovo (Central Bulgaria) are renownred for being keen on sparing everything. They say they cut cats'tails so that the room won't get cold when kitty enters it. They say when the Gabrovo people dance the kolo (a circle dance where hundreds of people can be involved) they wear muffled slippers so that they get to hear the band playing from the nearby village and don't have to pay the musicians.
Anyway, Gabrovo is a nice mountain town, whrere they hold the biggest cartoon&comics exhibition in the whole world (every 2 years).
Also: all Bulgarians nod to say "no" and shake their heads for "yes". This is not a joke:I thought it was until I saw it!
