I'm a 17 year old, turning 18 next September. Coming back to High School for a 1/2 a year to upgrade courses. Considering strongly the idea of working on a cruise ship for 3 - 5 months when im 18, in spring/summer 2008. If anyone has any previous experience with the business or has in fact worked on a cruise liner, it would be most appreciated to hear your experience.

I am looking to find out from experienced 'curisers' which cruise line they prefer, what time of year is the best to go to really enjoy the curise and off shore excurtions. Also, I don't want a "retirement" type cruise or a "disney" type cruise. Thanks

I am planning a vacation and I want to take a cruise, but I want to know which is a better company. Princess Cruises or Royal Caribbean, I hear that Princess is a more formal cruise, but Royal Caribbean has the Freedom of the Sea ship which is the largest ship in the world and has more stuff to do. I am going home with my boyfriend for christmas. i have met his parents twice since they live some distance away from my boyfriend and i. they are going on a cruise to alaskan cruise and i'd like to buy them gifts for their trip. i already bought them a guide/travel book, but beyond that i am clueless. thank you for your help!
