I'm used to working long hours so that doesn't bother me,
My only concern is, I've just turned 30 and all my friends reckon you have to be alot younger. Anybody got any advice on the matter?

I think you may just be able to cut it - but be prepared to keep up with the rest of them...If your young free and single I would encourage you to go for it - it will be a great learning experience..

Go for it, I am sure, you might be able to find, information on the web sites for the different cruise lines. Apply to several, I dont think the pay is all that great. And you most many hours, and dont really get to see that much as you travel, but you will see some of it.

There are many common folks on the ship, just plain common folks.

No, you don't have to be younger but really consider that job you're out to sea for months at a time and you can't hook up with the passengers and u shouldn't hook up with ur fellow crewmates..............good luck on the job though it's a pretty kewl experience...I worked as a performer on Disney Cruise Lines for awhile

no age doesn't matter as long as your not hideous. experience is most important as they want a person who can entertain 5 star clients. your friends are superficial
