im going on a cruise on holland america line. how is it? the crowd the serivce the food? most people say its generally older people. is that true? im going to west carribean.

It does tend to be an older, more formal crowd but in the past several years I have had clients in there 30"s that really enjoyed themselves & said there were quite a few people that were under age 60. Many families had young children & the kids enjoyed the activities HAL had available.
Like many cruiselines, things change from week to week, if you happen to get on a cruise where the crew is new or just returned from their leave the service may not be up to standards.
Usually HAL has VERY good service & food!
Depending on your age, I have every reason to believe you will enjoy yourself!
Take things as they happen... there is no such thing as a "perfect" vacation UNLESS you are willing to roll with the punches :)
