I'm going to Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), and I want to know the way to call my friend in Montreal from there. Should I use calling cards ? if so, which one?
Or should I be calling from the Hotel ?

I heard they are different as far as class and ambiance goes, but is the taste of the food any different than here in the states? Specifically places common like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, etc.. I also heard something about the quality being better. Meaning, less fat, better preperation, and better quality. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanx for your help. :)

We will be staying in punta cana, and i wanted to buy some good cigars. I have read reports that said beware of fakes and even reports that said the good manufacturers dont even sell on the island. Does anyone have any info?

Me and my g/f are going to punta cana in 2 weeks. Today we were at the beach in new jersey and every 2 feet ON THE SAND where it met the ocean was another stinkin jelly fish..seriously they were just everywhere...it got me so freaked out i wouldnt even look at my friends...i stared right at the sand in fear of stepping on one.

So it got me thinking....I know there's jelly fish in Punta Cana waters but are they bad on the sandy beach?

I know i probably sound like an idiot but these are such things i worry about however not deprecieating the fact that i will be in paradise for 7 nights :)
