I need to get a Canadian passport for the beginning of March, I just found out. I was wondering if anyone has been to the Sinclair Centre lately and tried to get one. How long was the line? Did they say how long the passport would take? Anyone know the best time to go?

This doesn't make any sense!
I'm an American in Vancouver. No offense to you Canadians, but why do I need a license to purchase a gun in this country? Sorry, but I'm American. I have the right to bear arms without being licensed. Why should I follow the rules of Canada when I'm American? I'm a citizen of a superpower and I don't HAVE to follow the rules and regulations of Canada. The Canadian government should look into this so they can start serving customers from the US.

I am a single mother of 3 young children and find myself wanting to move back out west. I currently live in Ontario and have for the last 7 years. A friend of mine suggested that I try Whistler. After a lot of research online, I find that I still can't come to a decision. Just so you can better understand, I will say that I do not ski, nor am I a mountian biker. I do however want to raise my children in a place filled with these types of activities.
If anyone could give me any kind of advice on this idea of mine I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
T.T.

Hi,

I am moving to Vancouver and was wondering where is the best place to live. My criteria is that it's family friendly with good schools and is safe and is less than 1 hours commute of downtown. Ideally more suburban than urban but somewhere with a bit of life ie. restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sure, the websites will post experiences, but do they only post the good experiences?

We are thinking about swapping our 2 bedroom condo in Bavaria, Germany with someone in Vancouver, B.C., but have not advertised on Craigslist yet.

Hi all. I'll be visiting Vancouver from California. If I get a hotel somewhere downtown, will I need a rental car to get around? Or can I survive by bus, taxi, or walking? Does Vancouver have a nice public transportation system? Thanks in advance. =)

It has to be in a nice neighborhood and we need to know the cost to plan ahead, and in a place that has nature and things to do for all of us.

I'm not going to be in Vancouver until the day before the event, and by then it will be all sold out. Could I go to a physical ticketmaster booth in Calgary, or will I have to order the tickets over the Internet?

Is that he was a pig farmer.
You see, if you starve pigs for about 2-3 days, they will happily eat raw meat. Even human meat.
I'm guessing that's where the majority of the women went after he killed them.
As for the pigs? They were sold for slaughter and meat.
Something no one wants to think about or talk about. I'm guessing it will come out in the trial.
