Hello, I will be travelling to Vancouver B.C
I need to rent a car for a month.
Can anyone tell me which rental company is the best to go for?
and please quote the price including tax(apprx.)

There are many car rental companies in Vancouver. At different times of the year, different companies offer different specials. The best thing to do is go on Yahoo and check the rates.
I find Enterprise usually has the best rates. I used them the last two times I went to Vancouver.

Yes, you can rent a car with a US driver's licence or passport, but you MUST be at least 25 years of age. A cab fare starts from about $5, charged from the time you get into one, and goes up from there. A cheaper alternative is to use public transportation, which costs $2.50 for a 1-zone trip, and is valid for 1 1/2 hours. Driving in the downtown core is a nigthmare because of all the one-way streets. Also, parking is extremely expensive($8 to $10 per day). Parking meters are 25 cents for 7 1/2 minutes, with a maximum of 2 hours, or your car will be towed.
