Anywho, from my personal experience, I see some Filipinos who can be so mayabang to the point that they even deny they are Filipino. Especially here where I live in the US. I have also seen Filipino teens trying to act "black" and living in California for 2 years I have seen some Filipino kids trying to fit in to be African-American. My fellow Filipinos, does that also bother you? I also notice that some don't even want to speak tagalog (I can understand tagalog and speak btw) and start saying bad things, I can understand peoples opinion if they don't like or love something, but when it comes down with "stereotyping" or not being too logical that pisses me off. I didn't had a good vacation back home, but that doesn't mean I hate Philippines. Btw, do you guys have any places that might be good to visit? =D thanks

Ive posted this similar question in the correct category but i only got 2 responses.. so i need your opinions. specially what's goin on in a guy's mind..

here's the prob. everytime i go out with my friends, i feel that my bf is upset. this has always occurred everytime i hang out with my friends without him. we see each other every week. and being with my friends happens occassionally. Sometimes I ditch them just to be with him.
i thought i could handle that. but this one is such a big deal for me. im going camping this weekend. and i have invited him to come along. he said he cant cuz he got asthma. of course, i told him that it would be more fun to experience this thing together. but still, i dont want to loose this chance to go nature tripping just because he cant come. we had a fight about it.
why cant he just be happy for me?or tell me that he'll be fine. when he goes out with his barkada without me, he wont hear anything from me. i actually tell him to have a good time.

But I am just curious, are all of the things we have said true? In my case, probably 98% since I wasn't 100% true with what I wrote on my profile when I just joined ( I have since made it accurate).

What is the brand of coffee that you drink and have on stock?

For me, right now, it's Maxwell House, Selection. Costs SR15/bottle.
Used to be "Colombiano", from Columbia, which I could get for less
than SR10, but now it's off the market. It's from Columbia, but
probably, Nescafe either ate up the firm, or it's gone under.

I also miss "Maxim's", which has been off the market here for a long
time. Is it still available in places like Houston, or Australia?

But what I really miss is "Kapeng Barako", wrapped in newspaper.
Or, Blend Forty Rice - which is really uncooked rice, but made to
blacken on the pan.

For me it's Jasmine Scented White Rice from Thailand. Although on the label, it say's in bold letters "Wag-Wag"
Most rice fromThailand bear also words like "Milagrosa". Could this be becuz they got the grains from us and grew them better in Siam? Whatever.

We oftentimes refer to them as "Triple A", becuz it is also written
on labels in the small sack.

Sometimes, I use Calrose, in plastic packs. I think this comes from
California, but I am not sure.

I sure hope it's better than mine. Woke up the usual time with the intention of making a perfunctory appearance at the office only to find I don't have a ride. Our Pinas visitors (my parents and my uncle/aunt) have decided to go on a last-minute shopping trip - again! When I got my van back (past 1:00PM), I drove my merry way to the office (less than 20 min drive) only to be stopped by a cop for speeding. Me? Speeding? Geeezzz, I drive like jongbong's "pagong". Anyway, that ticket is gonna set me back $188.00... grrrrrrrr.

Oppss, past 2:00 na pala....I'm off to lunch guys...I'm coming hon.

This is probably in the wrong section, but I'd like to know what you guys think. I was interviewed two weeks ago by my first-choice employer and I really enjoyed talking to the boss and I think she enjoyed interviewing me too. However, the HR Manager said they were conducting more interviews that week and would know by the next week (meaning, last week). I sent them a thank you letter after two days by email.
That same week, I was interviewed by my second choice company and today asked when I would be available, because they were narrowing their choice. I told them I'd give an answer this week.
Question: Would it be in order to call first choice employer and ask if I got the job (it's been two weeks after all)? I don't want to seem too aggressive but I need to make a decision about the second-choice company soon.

an asian guy & a white guy were seated next to each other on a plane ride to europe..

White guy turn to the asian guy & ask..what kind of "ese' are yah? pardon me but i don't know what you mean? answered the asian guy..

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English" .
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft " c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.
The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f".
This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter. In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double leters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".
