No. You will still learn from it. Like how to deal with this type of person. Very hard in a sense to deal with them because the logic in the discussion will be clouded with emotion.

Not really futile. You dictate the tempo of the argument so that the other person's being pikon does not get in the way.

In my experience, I try to humor the pikon so that he/she at some point thinks that what I am proposing was his/fer idea in the first place. You just have to be smart, and be sensitive to the feelings of the pikon.

Because what if it is critically important that you argue with a pikon? If you cop out, you lose.

No, if you stay out of the argument, then you lose, and you're the one who's pikon.

The best course of action is to continue until the other person tires and makes a mistake, whereupon you can pounce and quickly turn the table around. Look for a soft spot - since the person is pikon, there is always at least one.

If nothing works at that time then you go to Plan B, which is to capitulate. Live another day and save your energy for future battles. Good luck, looks like you may need lots of it. =))

Yes. You can't win in this kind of argument so it is better to just keep silent and sit tight. Wait till the other cools down and gets over being "pikon".

If am aware of that person being a "Pikon" then there is no sense of wasting my time arguing with them. Because it is a no win win situation either way.

yes it is. it's physically, emotionally draining to argue with them so don't exert any effort at all, for your own sanity... just leave them be. as they say, "ang pikon ay laging talo."

I actually enjoy the encounter. I want the "pikon" to move to the state of "inis" and finally to the state of "talo".
