I am going to Cairo in June and I was wondering if there is any hostels or cheap hotels on the island of Zamalek or on the west bank of the nile in Cairo? I am attending a school on the west bank of the nile on the other side of Zamalek and I don't want to stay at a hotel in downtown as this would be too far to travel everyday. I hope I didn't make the location to confusing.
