a friend of mine got his divorce and marriage permission from the Orthodox church after 4 years , but normally changing sects is the easiest way to get the divorce

incase of Muslims its normal , Islam allows divorce for 3 times , after the 3 times its not allowed to remarry .

best of luck

I don't think Coptic Orthodox have divorce allowed by their church. So, the chances are low, however, many desperate husbands or wives have to claim adultery so they can get divorced. Others may leave things as it is and marry outside the church.
Catholics divorce as easily as Muslims.

The answer for your second question is yes!
divorce is happening anywhere in the world.
But for your first question "Coptic" means Egyptian, i think you mean "Christian" man. He can divorce his wife, i can't see where is the problem!
