I don't think there is the best. It's always different according to our mood. I like Nancy Agram and Umm Kalthoum depends on my mood. If you speak in general along the history Umm Kalthoum is the greatest and the best not only in Egypt, but also in the middle east and All arab countries.
If we speak about present time it's always changing. One day Nancy, other day Sherine or Amal Maher, Ghada Ragab, Magda El Roumy, Latifa, Samira Saeed.

Om Kalthum died 30 years ago and her songs are still the best. She is Egyptian. Fairuz is lebanese and lives in Lebanon. Nancy Agram is lebanese and changes places. Sherin is Egyptian.
