just because europeans never claimed that it existed that doesn't mean that there was no palestine. i am so tired of hearing about how things don't exist because the "world" aka europe and the US have not decided that they exist. why are they the judges of what is seen as right and wrong and what does and doesn't exist? i think that if there are a people then there must be a land, because if there are palestinians, then how could there not people a palestine?

i have many palestinian friends who, definitely say that they are palestinian, but i was just reading in the 'israel' section that palestine doesn't exist and that it never has and that palestians don't exist as well, and i am jsut wondering how this could be. are all of the people who claim they are palestinian crazy, or what?

A smile is the beginning of peace.
- Mother Teresa

Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek but a means by which we arrive at that goal.
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life
around it.
- Brian Tracy

-The quieter you become the more you can hear.

-True peace is found in this moment. Acceptance is the 1st step

Why do the Palestinians try to steal Israels land?
Why not take some of Iran's land. Or Iraq's land. Their borders are just made up. With no real meaning.

I ask because I think I am a pretty typical American-mutt...that is the only way I can think of to describe my ethnicity.
My dad is half German, half Irish...but my mom is English, Scottish, Dutch, French, Syrian and Native Mohawk....
Many times I envy those who were raised with a strong cultural identity...
Anyways...just curious...

Dear Sir / Madam, I was working for a Indian company as a senior artist. I once visited Dubai from India on 8 Jan 2007 & returned back on 10 Jan 2007 with them.

Few days back I received a call from that company that I will be blacklisted in Dubai & will be put to jail if I ever visit to Dubai again, because High Authorities in Dubai are saying that I am still in Dubai. so i should send them my passport details & page where i have received my returning stamp from Dubai.

Please help me, as I don't want to give details to that employer as I am afraid they may misuse it. As I already have left that Company.
I really don't know whether they are telling truth or lie. I have checked my passport I have my visiting stamp to Dubai as well as returning stamp on my passport.

I am in India, Is there any other way so I can sort out this problem or Contact someone in the Authorities. Please Help.

I have just woken up to read all of last night's hilarious entertainment - Shishak (the undisputed master of account creation) has truly surpassed himself this time...

But for anyone who hasn't worked it out yet, all of the fictitious accounts were created on November 9th (if you hover over an avatar you get to see the date it was created).

So the question entitled 'Look at my avatar?' was posted by the real Ultra N (avatar dated November 8th), while the response 'you're right' was by Shishak pretending to be him.

OK I'm going away for a few days now, but I promise to return soon. Please try not to kill each other in the meantime!

P.S. In case anyone gets the bright idea of trying to impersonate me in the meantime, my account was created in August...

how long do you leave it open? Do you pick a best answer or do you let it go to voting? If you do pick a best answer, how do you decide? Do you give thumbs down to the answers you don't like? Also, when voting for best answer, do you vote for yourself? And do you vote undecided questions just to get more points?

so preoccupied with social status, brandished in the form of pricey accessories like cell phones, imported cars, private school education for their children, seaside chalets and extravagant wedding celebrations? Why do we hear the phrase "don't you know who I am" (inta mish 3arif ana ibn meen) so much?! What has gone wrong with us?
