I have a friend who surfs alot and is selling a practically new short board. It is a Dakine case included for 355. It was Ben Bougious (pro surfer) that he rode twice, and my friend only rode it three times...so its basically new.....its 3'11"
soo good deal? or not worth it.

If not, is there any place that could possibly tow it for me for under 2,000?

I have a truck fully capable of pulling 10,000lbs. So truck is not an issues, only the trailer and length of the boat seems to be stumping me.

Looking to buy a board, about intermediate, can plane but can't do carve gybes, waterstarts on anything like that yet, so need a board to learn these on. Sail in around Poole harbour and on reservoirs, so don't face much chop, winds from 3 - 6.

If so, are there power or weight requirements, or can they all do the job?

I'm a young guy and I happen to llike to fish alot. Mostly because it is a very relaxing hobby to do. Just sitting on the bank and think about nothign for the whole day. My friends however don't hink so. They want to catch stuff and catch them quick and then they get frustrated when they don't. They think that this is what old men do when they retire. Do you think fishing is an old person's sport?

Hello...

I am going to be moving home by the end of 2007 and will be locating myself across the river that I currently live on. The thing is, I do not want to have to use the ferry services to cross back over the river to get to work and so forth.

Can anyone suggest practical/realistic solutions to this problem?

I have considered buying a RIB but obviously mooring is an issue and I would prefer to not have to pay fees to moor in a marina. Unless there is a RIB small enough to come out water and be mounter on my car!?

The biggest constraint I would put on this idea is that I would like to go to the waters edge, get in, cross, remove the water craft and take it with me on my car! Obviously a kayak would meet these needs but are there other powered solutions that could come out the water (using man (one man!!) power only) and go with me?

Thanks for posting any helpful comments
