I have a friend who surfs alot and is selling a practically new short board. It is a Dakine case included for 355. It was Ben Bougious (pro surfer) that he rode twice, and my friend only rode it three times...so its basically new.....its 3'11"

3' 11" ?
Are you sure? Dakine makes surfboard accessories, not surfboards. The board pictured is a Wave Riding Vehicle.
The board was shaped for Ben B. therefore it is shaped for his riding style. Do you ride like Ben B? Do you have as much experience in the water as Ben B? If not, then find another board. $355.00 shouldn't be too far from the price of a new board( yeah, I know he is throwing in the board bag). Point is Unless this board suits your style and experience level, you will never be happy with it.
If you don't already, visit your local surf shop( preferably one that's close to your favorite break or a break you'll have the most access to) and go from there.
My rule is , when buying surfboards, always stick to a shaper that shapes boards for your coastline.(east coast for east coast, etc.)

This board is only a good deal if you ride like the surfer it is shaped for.

You can try surfboard to adjust and manage your body weight. Surfboard can easily moved into all directions while skating.

How good are you? If you've surfed for months on end and you're really into the sport then you'll most likely love it.
If you're a beginner, buy it and keep it safely in your garage.
I would love to ride it personnally.
