i.e all rounder who can adapt and play well in different billiard sports (i.e. snooker, 9-ball, 8-ball, one pocket, straight pool etc.)
IMHO, the best all rounder is Efren Reyes.
Others like Ronnie O for eg. is great in snooker but is just hopeless in 8-ball.

Crisp slacks, with fine creasing can really look sharp. I love wearing crisp slacks and sipping hot apple cider on my porch.

I think we all enjoy watching pool on TV. However, do you agree that TV gives us an exaggerated view on just how good the pros really are? For instance, if you watch a 9-ball match, race to 7, that's a potential of 13 games. They have one hour to show the match, so after player introductions, commercials, presentation of the check, etc., you have about 35-40 minutes of pool. They rarely show long safety battles or missed shots. What you end up seeing are the matches where they break and run out or pocket the 9 on the break. This gives the impression that the pros almost never miss and almost always have successful break shots. This is not to slight their skill and ability. They are truly great players, but I think it would be good to show how they are also human and make mistakes like the rest of us. I know they have to keep it exciting and quick, but I think that real students of the game would like to see it all, good and bad. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

We have a table where a 10 month old 30 oz felt became stretched and was refitted with the same cloth. The table runs like mad. The room is air conditioned, without the heater the table runs 4 1/2 lengths, with the heater it runs 5 1/2 lengths. How many lengths should a 12 ft billiards /snooker table run ?

Without mentioning any specific players or world records, tell me what your favorite game of pool is (8-ball, 9-ball, 14.1, etc.) and why. What do you feel are the unique differences between the games? Feel free to elaborate on this. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

i went from playing 14yrs on a 7 foot table to playing on a 9 foot table the last 4 years. in the last 4 years that iv been playing on a 9 foot table, my game on a 7 foot table has jumped about 40% better. my teamate tends not to believe this and thinks that playing on a 9 foot table does not help you to play better on a 7 foot table he thinks it easier to run out a table on a 9 foot table then a 7 foot table in any game that is played. even with my experince in playing he still doesn't think its better. i took lessons from a BCA 2 time world trick shot champion, i think i have enough knowlege about how to play, but i dont know how to explain this to my teamate. please share your expertise on the differances between a 7 foot and a 9 foot table?

If you had any interest in learning about snooker, what things would you want to know about? For instance: playing equipment, rules, terminology, etc. I'm a pool player through and through, but I'd like to do some research on other games to compare and contrast them. Anything you've ever wanted to know about snooker, I'll do whatever I can to find out the answer. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
