If you had any interest in learning about snooker, what things would you want to know about? For instance: playing equipment, rules, terminology, etc. I'm a pool player through and through, but I'd like to do some research on other games to compare and contrast them. Anything you've ever wanted to know about snooker, I'll do whatever I can to find out the answer. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

Ok, what are the differences between American and British Snooker? What is the history behind the rules and equipment - why reds? why is the 7 ball black? why are the pockets rounded?

i also transisted from the game of pool to snooker, if you are really interested in learning snooker, its almost similiar to pool and best part is you know the basic of everything like english (spin) and draw, top etc..etc.., just in fact that the table is 6ft 7in by 12ft 7in its magnifies the playing enjoyment more, it takes more displine than pool as you need to concentrate and get the best of you break. i've learnt throught videos, practising day and night, and yup practice makes perfect. but do go get your own cue if you really wanna be a good player.

if you want videos of snooker do email me at buyer976@yahoo.com
