hi, my freind has gotten a new house, and there has been sightings of a cougar around the area. I actually have a wildlife camera that takes pictures of any thing that moves, and i want to get a picture of one becuase i live in the North-East, and if i get a picture of one that would be amazing, and i would tell people to extend the map of the cougars out to the North-East. Yes, i do want to ATTRACT a cougar into his yard so i can get a picture of one. I have put the camera behind his house with some cooked steak, and i just got curious deer. I no that deer attract mountain lions, which is good, but i really want to get a picture of one. I only want experts that know what they are talking about please.

thanks

are there any good free fishing games online that an adult would enjoy

My brother (Eagle Scout) says that smooth blades are best and that partially-serrated knives were invented for people who don't properly sharpen their knives. He says that you can cut anything with a sharp enough smooth blade.

Personally, I like the look of partially-serrated knives. I also am a Scout and know the right way to sharpen knives. However, although almost all of my knives are partially-serrated, I've only used the serrated portion once.

What do you all think?

Thanks a lot!

When I was in high school 20 years ago a buddy and I used to coon hunt and we could get $30 a hide. We made $700 a week sometimes, not bad money for a high schooler. What are they worth today? May buy a couple of coon dogs if it's worth it. Please, if you are anti hunting, don't answer. Don't care what you think!

I have a Yugoslavian 59/66 SKS. I am seriously considering refinishing the stock but want to know if it is a good idea. I do not want to deminish any collector's value. They are plentiful guns so I don't think they will ever be worth a whole lot and even if they are mine probably will break by then considering how much I shoot. The stock itself is in good condition, I just want to add some new life to it. It has minor dings all over. It is slightly worn on places that come in contact with a rack. There is an "X" and the letters "SG" etched into the butt. It appears to have rotted a slight but in the surface near the rubber recoil pad.

What should I do? The initials in the stock are the only special thing about this that may make it worth collecting since they were probably put there by the Yugoslavian soldier who originally caried it, I know it has been issued from the sand and grass I have pulled from various places in it.

Thanks,
Colt. B.

Even though I know full well that most fishing reels are able to store a large amount of line for the very line diameters that they are constructed for, I do know for a fact that some anglers spool up improperly with line that is too thick or with not enough line. This increases the chance of an angler being spooled by a large fish to a considerable degree. Even so, it is possible for a fish to spool a properly wound reel and surprise an angler, especially if it is of considerable size. My questions are - Have you ever been spooled by a fish before? If so, how big was the fish if you happened to see it? How many runs? What test line/equipment? How long was the fight? And why were you spooled? Was being spooled the result of being underprepared, or was it due to some major goof up? I want to hear some good stories. Also, for those that are confused, spooling is when a fish pulls out all of a reel's line before the line-to-spool connection is snapped, leaving no line left.

I live in Ohio where you cant hunt deer with a rifle,(This is fine with me by the way) but here is my situation. There is a lot of wild boar that I could hunt and we are planning to go caribu and mule deer hunting next year. I am a big beliver of the right gun for the right game but I don't need more than one large rifle since 99% of my hunting is done with shotguns and varmit rifles. I don't know a lot about large rifles but I was told that the Remington 700 in 30-06 will work game from boar to elk. Anyone agree or disagree? Anyone have a better suggestion?
