Not at all. A serious head injury can literally ruin your life, and it's not difficult to miss a landing and crack your squash on the asphalt.

A helmet is a good idea, especially if you're skating vert or rail grinding a flight of stairs, trust me you'll want to wear one, lots of people die each year from not wearing them skateboarding. Just use your head (not litteraly) when skating. Been doing this a long time and been to the ER my share amount, lookout for yourself cause there are lots of people who arn't looking out for you, don't be peer preasured into not wearing one. Makes you a more of a loser to not be able to skate after falling on your head and all your food comes through a tube.

The losers are the people who don't have enough sense to know how to protect themselves. These type of people might make comments about others, but look at the long term and see who is still functional and living in several years.
If you don't wear a helmet, please make sure that you are an organ donor since it can save the lives of others. It would be a shame to have all your organs go to waste when you are brain dead due to an head injury which could have been prevented.

No, it is being responsible to wear a helmet when skating, skate boarding, or riding a bike. You should also wear knee and elbow pads as well. If you protect yourself from injury, you will enjoy many more years of these activities.

No, I do not think you would be a loser. You could be a loser, however, if you did not wear a helmet and take a bad fall.
Let people say what they will, it is your body and life.

as long as you place on a solid high quality helmet that suits nicely then you definately would desire to be effective.bike helmets will make you appear as if a dork so use skate helmets.undergo in strategies your no longer gonna seem solid with your brains laying out on the pavement via no longer wearing risk-free practices.
