I have a horse his front right hoof turns down on the outside. He is starting to favor it when he walks. Could his shoe be built up on the outside to even it out. His leg is starting to turn out. It is like when some one has one leg shorter than the other that si what it reminds me of on the ouside of the hoof.

The only place I found to get off the track thoroughbreds in tx is a rescue and the horses cant really be used for much work after you rescue them. I am looking to buy an OTTB that can be retrained and used for show (jumping). I've got tons of experience with horses I just cant seem to find anywhere to purchase OTTB's. Can someone give me info for either a racehorse trainer selling his hasbeens or some place to get OTTB's that isnt a rescue. Thanks soooo much

Splashed, by Wilkies Wonder, was purchased from NZ in foal to Courage Under Fire.
This apparently produced a skewbald colt.

This horse should make SportCenter tonight. The #12 Horse on the 2nd race from Gulfstream Park, FL paid today $310.80 to Win- $90.40 to Place- $29.40 to Show. The Trifecta 12 - 10 - 8, with the #8 horse that paid $37.80 to Show and the #2 closing as a 2nd candidate at $4.60 to Place, paid $15,596.20. If this does not make news somewhere tomorrow, I'll be surprised. Running Super Star truly lived up to it's name.

Has lammtarra sired any winners since he went to stud after winning the arc de triomphe, if i remember rightly he was bought by the Japanese for about £25 mil. I keep looking out for any horses he has sired but not noticed any.

For those of you that don't know, George Washington has been taken out of stud duties as he has turned out to be infertile: Coolmore have responded by retiring Holy Roman Emperor in his place with immediate effect. Antoone else think this is appalling? Its not like Coolmore need the money, and Aiden O'Brien seems VERY unhappy about it. Unless a horse suffers an injury, there is no way a horse should be retired after only 1 season to race.

Perhaps they will send George back out on the racetrack, but I'd say that's doubtful.
