i live in weatherford and i want to get a job for this summer but i do not know where to look, i am very good with horses and i have alot of experience with them. i can train horses, lope them dr just groom them i will do it for pretty cheap. by the way i am 14 will that hurt me. please, any web sites, stables,anything i want a job really bad.

I am either going to get a young very green horse for only $1000 and I really do not want to work with another green horse agin .Or a barrel racing paint/quarter for more then I can aford and am afraid to ask my mom for money help because she is paying for my 4-H classes.I am 14 and so my mom dose not really expect me to have all the money so i just dont know what to do.

I have long believed that the only way we will ever see an end to the tragedies like the ones which happened to Barbaro, Ruffian, etc., is to completely restructure the sport of racing and the breeding industry that supports it. I would like to know what others think on this subject.

What kind of things make horse tack leather more supple and less cracked? Is there any specific oils that would help? I just bought a saddle and the leather is really stiff. Is there anything I can do about it?

I saw that some that make up to a million dollars a year and i see some horses that make up to two hundred thousand a year and i just wanted to know the average amount most horses make.

Okay, we might be moving very soon to a new house so I can get another horse. The color horse I get I don't care if it's not brown/bay but I would name him Barbaro. I love that name and Barbaro was such a wonderful, wonderful horse, I just want to name my new horse that I get after him.

Do you think that would be alright?? It's legal right? I was just wondering if you think that would be cool to name your horse, one of the most true champ's of horse racing.

Please let me know what you think and if it's a good idea to name HIM Barbaro, because I would get a gelding. I just don't know if I should... or even if it's legal (just cuz that would be like coping a name)

I know the field isnt announced, but are there any horses out there that are impressing people now, and are sure to enter in the Derby? There has to be some names floating around that are expected to do big things in the Derby. And if you have an idea of a good horse, can you let me know when thier next race is, so I can get a good look for myself on how the horse performs??

I weigh 100lbs and am 5' 3'' and am also 12 yrs old. I want to be a jockey as you see and I think I'm going to be to tall! Because I am an American not some like little good type jockey and stuff so I don't think anybody will even want me to be their jockey or even if I can become one!
I really want to be a jockey but I don't know if I'll be able to be a good one, ya know like to race in the Derby and stuff.
