Has lammtarra sired any winners since he went to stud after winning the arc de triomphe, if i remember rightly he was bought by the Japanese for about £25 mil. I keep looking out for any horses he has sired but not noticed any.

Sheikh Mohammed bought Lammtarra back from the Japanese last Summer. It has still not been announced where he is standing for the 2007 season.

Check out this link for his progeny records in Europe:

Lammtarra stood his first season at Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Dalham Hall Stud near Newmarket. At the end of the 1996 breeding season he was sold to a group of Japanese breeders for $30 million where he initially had a stud fee of 30,000 pounds. His offspring met with limited success and his fee was reduced later to 2,500 pounds with a live foal guarantee. Although the foals have not been great performers, mares sired by him are highly sought after, due to Lammtarra's excellent bloodlines. A close relative Sunday Silence, an equally famous racehorse, has had better success as a sire. He is also in Japan.

In August of 2006 it was announced that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum had bought back Lammtarra from Japan's Arrow Stud

yes some winners, they will find somewhere to stand him...his bloodlines are impeccable for breeding being bred out of nearco (also Halos great grandsire(sire to Sunday Silence which would make him a distant relative)to neartic# and nasurllah*to northern dancer to nijinsky his sire and dancer blood on the dam side also...(#where the northern dancer line starts, * where the bold ruler (seattle slew, mr prospector, secretariat) line starts (for those that arent familiar our storm cat, giants causeway and most other major popular breeding bloodlines originated there...check your favorite racehorses and trace them back 5 generations...chances are this is their origins also...)fyi it was found that in Japan the most success breeding Sunday Silence was back to Northern Dancer related mares...much like more success from secretariat and seattle slew breeding comes from the bottom...(as a dam sire)
