Since Nicklaus stopped competing, I haven't really settled on a favourite. Tiger is obviously the best, but I don't really consider him my favourite, although he is to be admired.
If pushed, I'd go for Jose Maria Olazabal. I just hope he can win a 3rd Major and join that elite list which separates the great, from the good.

I have heard of people claiming that they have had a Ping Anser that made the "ping" sound when the ball was hit. I have only heard a "ping" sound on the 1A model Ping putters & never on any Anser. My question is this, does any Ping Anser make the famous "ping" sound when a ball is putt?

I have recently got crazy about golf and i am still working on the basics. Address, stance, posture and blah blah blah. I have learnt lots of bascis from youtube videos and some free lessons off the net. I suddenly feel an urge to go to the driving range at various times during my work and even midnight. I am feeling restless when i figure out that i wont be able to go to a driving range when i am at work.

Overall i am feeling addicted to it. Last month alone is spent 20$ every single day practicing in the driving range. At the end of the month i started realized that there is something wrong with my budgeting. How can i stop this craving for golf?

Many professional golf tours (i.e. the US PGA Tour, European PGA Tour, LPGA Tour) do not allow their players to use cell phones / pda on the golf course during tournament play. Why is this the case? What are they afraid the players will use the cell phone / pda while they are playing a tournament except for the bad ring during a swing?

I really like two sports that all happen during the same season. I really like track and all my friends want me to be on the team. But I like golf too. I'm afraid if i'm on the golf team people will tease me and my friends might get mad. I like golf a lot, but I also like track. What do I do?

i am a beginner. i 've only been to driving range twice. where can i get all the information about golf clubs and everything else. i want to learn which clubs to use when i am at certain distance. what are the differences between clubs. how to choose them while playing a whole. and many more questions like these. any links will be helpful

Is anyone else as tired as I am with this ridiculousely trumped up, overspeculated issue? Has she even won on the LGPA yet? I think she came in dead last her last couple of attempts on the mens side. I think we should all e-mail the Golf Channel about this topic and ask them to talk about something we're actually interested in.

My husband works near a golf course and comes home with at least 2-3 golf balls a day. I often ask him what he plans on doing with so many golf balls becuase it sometimes seems that they are invading our home. He says he plans to sell some and use some. Would you buy used golf balls? If so, how much would you be willing to pay for them?
