I am 14 years old, Freshman in high school. I practice on the range every day for 4-5 hours with 1 hour of short game/bunker practice. Also another hour for putting. My handicap is a 12 right now but my home course was under repair so I didn't get any course play. The handicap should go down because since the course is closed, all I do is practice and am playing way better and consistantly. My only down side is I'm pretty small and can only driver about 225-235 yards. I go to De La Salle High School in California. You know the one with the 141 game unbeaten football streak, #1 ranked football team in the country. Their Varsity won the state championship last year but I'm only trying for J.V. or Freshman.

I want to swing my clubs the more traditional way, swinging them instead of hitting the ball. Do anyone know a good pro in south of Thailand?

Ok now that you have all told me to use white golf balls.....one more question.........what should i get written on the golf balls?? they are for my boyfriend for christmas! there is a maximum of 5 lines with 15 characters per line, but i wasn't planning on using that many. at first i thought i would just have his name.....Dan, written on them with a picture of something, but maybe i should try a little harder than that?!!?! I was thinking something smarter like Dan's balls, lol. Can any of you smart and creative people out there think of anything else i could get written on them? thanks!!!

I knew an avid golfer and a dog that spent a lot of time on a golf course that both died from lymphoma. Now I see two pro golfers in the news with breast cancer. I am wondering if pesticides or other chemicals used on golf courses are causing this. Is there a high incidence of lymphoma or other cancers in pro golfers?
