since 2002 it has been called "THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola"

from 1991-2001 it was called "THE TOUR Championship"

from 1987 to 1990 it was called "Nabisco Championship"

The Tournament of Champions started in 1953, became the MONY tournament of champions and the Mercedes Championships in 1994..it started in 1953 at the Desert Inn CC. Las Vegas and 1967 & 68 at La Costa CC, Carlsbad,Calif.1999-to present at Plantation Course, Kapalua, Hawaii
