I am currently hitting a taylor made 300Ti 7.5 degree ( I know...old school) but I fear going from a titanium face to a steel face will cause me to lose length. I read reviews on a pro Hogan site that were all great of course. I need real reviews!!

SHould i do it? I havent been in any tournaments but they like my play I guess. Someone may have been at the course because my pro is sponsored by titleist.

having recovered from lung surgery i have 2 tix (1 extra ) to tues april 3 rd.i have a car in ft laud , 10 hrs from augusta or should i fly from my nyc home to columbia or atlanta n rent a car. i have i nite in marriott , 60 min from augusta.after the round its onto ft laud by car or fly. almost to confusing and expensive to go,but its been a dream n now i cant back out. any serious advise . 54 male

ok.. so i am going to be a freshman next year and i want to play on the highschool golf team. everyone that tries out for the team makes it but... what does it take to be a better player on the team? i take lessons from a pga professional and i practice but is there anything else i should do or know??

Ok lets start off with some background information, I am 14 almost 15 years old I have played golf for about 10 or 11 years now and I practice golf Monday-Thursday from about 3:00pm-6:00pm and most fridays I only practice from 3:00pm-3:00pm or 4:00pm (because I work) on Saturdays I usually play golf at a golf course or go to the driving range same with Sundays. Ok for the question, what would be a good schedule to follow to most effectivly practice golf (Example-Monday-Thursday chipping and Friday-Sunday driving) one more thing I forgot to mention is that I live in a pretty bunched up neighborhood so I don't want to risk hitting real golf-balls with anything but 7 iron- wedges. Usually I use the larger clubs with plastic golf balls, however, those don't give a good feedback on the swing. I also hit the plastic golf balls rather long with my driver around 100-150 yards. So please help me out I really would like to become a better player and become part of the PGA Tour.

I have nothing against women and men mingling in sports. But, it seems that Ms. Wie just doesn't seem ready to golf with the "big boys". I am glad she tries, but when she does as bad as she does, wouldn't she be better off just going back the LPGA and honing in on what she needs to improve on and then come back?
Any feedback would be appreciated. I need to know I'm not the ONLY one to think this.

I know this may seem like a dumb question, but I am still kinda new to the game. I have an oversized 9 degree driver, but it feels like it needs more weight. It feels like I am swinging almost nothing, yet if I use my 3 wood it feels heavier and cause of this the swing feels better, and gives me just as much distance. So I figure adding weight to the driver should help me achieve more distance. Any ideas or tips? Thanks
