I have nothing against women and men mingling in sports. But, it seems that Ms. Wie just doesn't seem ready to golf with the "big boys". I am glad she tries, but when she does as bad as she does, wouldn't she be better off just going back the LPGA and honing in on what she needs to improve on and then come back?
Any feedback would be appreciated. I need to know I'm not the ONLY one to think this.

I agree with you. I remember reading somewhere a couple of years ago that Tiger Woods said he learned to win at the junior level before moving to the amateur level, then learned to win there before moving to the professional level. You can be a very talented golfer and not be able to win.

Now that she is at the professional level, there's no turning back. She can hit the ball a long way, but she needs to prove herself on the LPGA Tour before attempting to make the cut on the PGA Tour. Heck, it wouldn't hurt her to play on the Futures Tour and see if she could win there.

I hate to say it, but right now she is like a circus freak -- a spectacle that people are gawking at to see what she'll do next. That's not fair to her. She certainly has a great deal of talent.

Michelle Wie is not an overachiever. She hasn't made the cut in ANY mens event. She hasn't won any LPGA events, either.
Unfortunately, she took all that endorsement money, so she can't even qualify for the US Amateur. The LPGA is the place for Michelle Wie. I agree with your assessment.

I have to say that even though it seems many people on this forum and elsewhere do not like Michele Wie's decision to compete in the PGA instead of the LPGA, she has already made more money in her short pro career than many here will make in their lifetimes. SO if she just wants to make money and set herself up to retire when she's only 25 years old, then good for her.

Her age allows her only a few LPGA events. So when the mens tournaments come calling she accepts.

Underachiever. Not a single win in Men's or Women's professional golf. Not a single cut made with the men. She should have stayed in school and not grown up in the lime-light.

Neither actually.....Only an ambitious teenager who has a bit of talent. and a very spotlight orientated family. Talk to me after she wins something. anything. at best right now outside of her pumped up celebrity...she is only a mediocre player.
